The purpose of this study was to develop the Career-Urgency Scale of young adult workers and to investigate its reliability and validity. In Study 1, we asked three hundred 20′s workers to answer a questionnaire on the internet, which consisted of career-urgency, cognition of synthetic of career-urgency, anxiety, and turnover intention. Based on the result of factor analysis of the Career-urgency Scale, three factors were extracted; feeling under pressure, urge to career construction, and fear of career. The internal consistency of Cronbach’s α coefficients showed that Career-urgency Scale had sufficiently high reliability. And Career-urgency Scale scores were correlated with cognition of synthetic of career-urgency, anxiety, and turnover intention. In Study 2 (N=300), as we investigated Career-urgency using another sample data besides the data of the Study 1, Career-urgency Scale had high reliability. Based on these results, it was concluded that the scale is sufficiently valid for measuring career-urgency.
